The participants of the 2^nd Conference on Contemporary Problems of Geochemistry will have an opportunity to visit a new-built Center of Geoeducation in Kielce. This geological museum and a self-guided trail is located in the southeastern part of the Wietrznia Abiotic Nature Reserve.
The tour of the Geoeducational Center (sightseeing of the exhibition presenting the Devonian history of the Holy Cross Mountains) will also include a visit to the Zbigniew Rubinowski Abiotic Nature Reserve which is located in an abandoned Wietrznia quarry. Some details about geology, mineralogy, petrology, and geomorphology of the site will be discussed.

On September 25^th, the conference participants will visit one of the most interesting archeological site in Poland – Krzemionki (or Krzemionki Opatowskie). It is an archeological reserve that includes Neolithic complex of striped flint mines located about 5 km north-east of Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski. Different concepts of the origin of the Krzemionki cherts will be discussed during sightseeing of underground tourist route.

The tour will also encompass a visit to the Cistercian abbey in Wąchock which is famous for its Romanesque architecture. The oldest parts of the monastery buildings are recognized as the best preserved monuments of the Romanesque style in Poland. Conference participants will visit the cloister’s interiors and the church.
